Damn… time flies. I think we’re still recovering from Burning Man last year. But, the sun and fog is making a comeback in our fair city, meaning it’s time to get our ass in gear. More info to come, but mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27!
Filed under Events, News | Comment (0)Tasty Reheated + Birthday Celebs – Sun, 9/14, 3-9pm
So both Jen and I (Brent) spent our actual birthdays out at Burning Man this year and had a splendid time, as you could imagine. She received a My Little Pony and a mouthful of dust, me a recycled bike and a watercolor of the Man. We also had a great time as part of the first Tasty Camp, where we fed the starving masses and treated them to our sweet beats. Plus executed phase one of the Tasty franchise/world takeover, thanks to our sister camps Howarya & Sol System. But most importantly spent tons of quality time with old and new friends. So a good time was had surely.
But, now we’re back in San Francisco. And well, things are just a bit different here. We don’t think we’re quite ready for the fun to stop. Plus, it seems a shame to restrict our celebrating to the middle of nowhere and a few select days over a holiday weekend.
So to address these concerns…
Please join us at Bollyhood in the Mission to celebrate a multitude of things: Jennifer’s Golden Birthday + Brent’s Far-From-Golden Birthday + Tasty Camp “Reheated”
+Bollyhood is at 3372 19th St @ Mission St.
++Sun, Sept 14 from 3pm-9pm
+++www.bollyhoodcafe.com
We’ll have special treats like: Christian’s Famous Fried Chicken + Amazingly Tasty DJ’s + Crazy Photos Straight From the Playa + Bollyhood’s Sweet Concoctions + Fun Fun Times
So come one, come all. We are asking for a sliding scale donation of $5-20 to help us cover leftover costs from Tasty Camp and for this get-together, but we won’t give you the hard sell so no pressure if times are tight. Most important thing is for you to come. And be ready to rock.
***Oh yes, in proper Tasty style, please bring a food dish to share. We will have a grill, so feel free to bring stuff for it! Only food please, drinks available through Bollyhood…
