Tasty Four Kicks Off!

Dear Tasty Patrons,

Join us this SATURDAY, June 27, beginning at 1pm, for the kickoff of Tasty season four!  As always, the Tasty crew have been working overtime to deliver the finest beats and eats for your park pleasure.  We’ve got a nice one on tap with some great music and the always unbeatable food, and Mother Nature is looking like she may cooperate with us.

Remember, Tasty is a potluck affair, so please bring some food or drink to impress!  Definitely bring some sausages for the grill (see “International Sausage Bar” below).

We’ll be celebrating Head Chef Christian’s birthday, so wish him well when he fills your plate!  Bring your friends and family and pets, we’ll see you Saturday!

• BEAT BROKER – We’re very excited to welcome back Beat Broker and his new-meets-old disco sounds to Tasty.  But don’t take our word for it, give a listen to his fab set from Tasty Halloween 2007
• GOH NAKAMURA – One of SF’s finest singer-songwriters will be playing a special live set.  Don’t miss his Cafe du Nord headlining gig on Tuesday, June 30!
• JX2 – Blending hip-hop and indie with that electro style all the kids love
• GORDON GARTRELL – Disco biscuits and dance floor eclectism for your pleasure
• AMIT – Future-forward bass by a founding father!

• INTERNATIONAL SAUSAGE BAR – In honor of Pride weekend, we’ll be hosting an International Sausage Bar (do we need to explain?). We’ll bring toasty buns and a variety of gourmet toppings and sauces, you bring the dog of your choice.  Try the Berlin (Sauerkraut & Stoneground Mustard), the Seoul (Kimchi & Pickeled Radishes), the Paris (Caramelized onions & Gruyere), or the Chicago (Cucumber, Tomato Wedges, & Dill Pickle Spear)!
• SUMMER SLAW with Jicama and Watermelon
• TASTY’S FAMOUS FRIED CHICKEN – Don’t worry kids, we never leave this one off!

Tasty Spot, Golden Gate Park

1. Enter Golden Gate park on 25th Ave at Lincoln.
2. Make the first right onto MLK.
3. Take the next left onto Transverse Drive.
4. Park on Transverse where Transverse meets Middle Drive (the next left).
5. Walk down Middle Drive about 300 yards.

** Note: If you enter at 19th Ave there is no left turn onto MLK. **
