Summer’s officially here, so you’ve got no excuse not to hit Dirty Dishes this month! How could you refuse a fantastic night out with dear friends, a fab balcony to enjoy the summer, the finest showcase of food carts in town, and beats that’ll keep you dancing all night right smackdab in the middle of town? This month we’re excited to bring to you the RETURN of SEOUL ON WHEELS, the famed grilled cheese of Toasty Melts, and ice cream sandwiches from Cookie Wag SF for your dining pleasure, and special guest DJ Special K bringing the disco house flava!

GOBBA GOBBA HEY – “Gobs are like dessert crack. Can’t stop, won’t stop. If I keep eating gobs, I’ll turn into a gob… Anywhoo, these little cakester creations are such a delighful treat! The first time, I tried a peaches & cream w/ peach & lemon butter cream and holy moly, I became an instant addict. At $2 a pop, I ended up buying 3 more to take home for my brother to try…but they didn’t exactly make it all the way back to Union City. Whoopsies!” – Michelle W.

GOOD FOODS CATERING – “OMG! These people aren’t cooks, they’re Porcine Artistes! I grew up in North Carolina, with some pretty fan-freakin’-tastic BBQ, and let me say these guys know their $#!T! I’m addicted to the Pulled Pork sammy!!!! Just make sure to stock up on napkins before you settle in for the feast!” – Villa S. For Dirty Dishes, expect their famous pulled pork sandwich with a spicy coleslaw and a bacon BBQ sauce, VEGAN BBQ bites, and pulled pork tacos!!!

WHITE LOTUS THAI – And the new food carts keep coming! With a family lineage full of Thai chefs, including the fine folks at Marnee Thai, White Lotus’ Oh will be unveiling her unique take on fresh veggie spring rolls, chicken satay & Thai red curry with butternut squash for you lucky ducks.

Join us this SATURDAY, June 27, beginning at 1pm, for the kickoff of Tasty season four!  As always, the Tasty crew have been working overtime to deliver the finest beats and eats for your park pleasure.  We’ve got a nice one on tap with some great music and the always unbeatable food, and Mother Nature is looking like she may cooperate with us.

Remember, Tasty is a potluck affair, so please bring some food or drink to impress!  Definitely bring some sausages for the grill (see “International Sausage Bar” below).

We’ll be celebrating Head Chef Christian’s birthday, so wish him well when he fills your plate!  Bring your friends and family and pets, we’ll see you Saturday!

Tasty is a collective of friends who love food as much as they dig music. This summer marks the fourth season of our audio-culinary events, which share the finest beats and delectable eats with our friends and yours. Spread the word and join us.

Tasty Management is excited to announce the start of their 4th season hosting Golden Gate Park’s finest beats and eats. More details to come soon, but please mark your calendars. We’re putting together a great food menu as always, plus a stellar musical lineup of both DJ’s and live musicians. And will be celebrating Head Chef Christian’s 34th birthday!  Note we’re going down on Saturday this time, and not on our usual Sunday.
