Last Tasty of the Season!
BOO! And boo hoo. As this Sunday, October 28, starting at noon, marks both the Tasty Halloween extravaganza and our third and last Golden Gate Park event of the season. In honor of both occasions, the Tasty crew has a very special afternoon in store. Costumed or not, get here early cause the sun don’t shine too long these days. As always, we’ll be sharing our treats with you, but please bring food to share, drinks for yourself, and donations for the tip jar to help us make Tasty bigger and better.

Tasty BBQ #4 – 07 Opener
The first Tasty BBQ of the season is on Sunday May 13th from 1pm-7pm in Golden Gate Park on Middle Drive around 23rd Ave.(click here for directions). Tasty resident chefs Christian, Brent and Amit will be joined by Jimmy Love (Non-Stop Bhangra / Nickel Bag of Funk) and Mochipet (Daly City Records)! We’ve got a theme for this one: Chunky and Funky! As usual please bring food and drinks to share, we’ll do the same. Spread the word!

The inaugral Tasty BBQ jumps off on June 25, 2006. The staff at Tasty would like to thank you for your support by inviting you to the first of a series of unique auditory and culinary events we will be holding this summer and fall. The talented Tasty chefs have put together a delectable menu of crunchy Beats and mouthwatering Eats to share with you and your friends in a beautiful Golden Gate Park setting.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 Watermelon cubed up,
- 1 package of feta cheese,
- 1/2 jar of calamata olives chopped up,
- red onion chopped up,
- bunch of mint leaves chopped up,
- 1/2 cup of lime juice,
- 1/2 cup olive oil.
Preparation:
Salt and pepper to taste. Chop it all up and throw it in a bowl. Chill.

Ingredients:
- Pork shoulder cut (cut diagonally and thin),
- pineapple chunks
Preparation:
Marinate sliced meat overnight in heaps of brown sugar, toooons of diced garlic, soy sauce, and a few healthy squeezes of sri-racha! Skewer with chunks of pineapple and grill over medium heat until browned all around. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- Boneless short ribs (from Ranch 99 or Korean Market),
- Korean BBQ marinade (also easy to find),
- corn tortillas,
- white sticky rice,
- kimchee – radish or cabbage (your choice),
- freshly grilled green onions
Preparation:
Marinate short rib overnight. Grill over high heat and serve all ingredients wrapped up in a tortilla.
